Jesus is central to everything we do. We sing, pray, and preach in His powerful Name. Our past, present, and future is centered on Him. Our purpose on this earth is to share message of Jesus with others: that He has made a way for us, that He has saved us, and that He has made us new! 2 Corinthians 5:17 says: "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.”
Shawnee Alliance is committed to helping people connect with Jesus so that they can begin the process of being transformed —by, through and for Him.
We Are…
People. Imperfect. Broken ... but forgiven and transformed. We are followers of Jesus.
We Serve…
A good and perfect God. A God who created the heavens and the earth. A God who calls us His Masterpiece and is fully present in every part of our lives. A God who loves us and brings healing, freedom and redemption through His son, Jesus.
"All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God." Roman 3:23
Through the death and risen power of Christ, all who believe and confess Jesus as Lord can be saved from the penalty and power of sin."
The Bible is the inspired Word of God, inerrant as originally given, and is a complete revelation of His will for the salvation of mankind.
There is one God, who is infinitely perfect, existing eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
The Church consists of all persons who have believed in the name of God's only son, Jesus of Nazareth and have confessed that He is Savior and Lord.
Jesus is in the business of healing the sick and the broken. We know that God "is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us..." Ephesians 3:20. So we continuously pray for spiritual, physical, and emotional healing for His people, through whatever form that may take (including doctors, friends, counselors, and miracles)
We believe in the personal return of our Lord Jesus Christ to receive to Himself all who have placed their hope and trust in Him.
God has given spiritual gifts in varying degrees to all His children, such as preaching, teaching, wisdom, faith, service, and more. They are meant to be used to serve others and reflect the goodness and majesty of the Gift-giver.
